AN award-winning Aberdeen-based media communications firm has further strengthened its PR team with a key management appointment.
Frasermedia, which was named Scotland’s Outstanding Small Consultancy at the CIPR Awards recently, has recruited former journalist, Donna Ross, as account manager.
Mrs Ross, 33, is a communications and journalism graduate who has worked in the newspaper industry for 13 years.
She has written for a number of North-east publications during her career and before joining the Frasermedia team as account manager, Donna spent seven years at The Press and Journal – where she worked as a features writer.
She said: “I’ve joined Frasermedia at such an exciting time and look forward to working with the team as the company continues to experience rapid growth in the public relations sector.”
Managing director of Frasermedia, Pauline Cook, launched the business following a successful career as a newspaper, radio and television journalist.
She said: “Donna has an excellent track record as a journalist and has a superb knowledge and understanding of the North-east market and great media contacts, which will compliment our existing experienced team.
“It’s a key appointment for the business as we continue to expand our position in the PR arena in Scotland and this allows us to focus on developing other areas of the business moving forward into 2013.”
Frasermedia, which was launched in 2007, delivers a number of media-based services in addition to PR, including emergency media response training and support, presentation skills training and corporate DVD production.
