SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has sold a 27,500 sq ft industrial site at Stirling Industrial Estate in Airdrie for £385,000.
Occupying a prominent position at the entrance of the estate, the site comprises three buildings: a detached single storey 5,100 sq ft industrial unit; a detached single storey 2,740 sq ft office and a 19,660 sq ft purpose built industrial unit.
The site is situated on the south side of Dykehead Road at the junction with Dalmacoulter Road within Stirling Road Industrial Estate, which lies some two miles to the north east of the town centre.
Jamie Savage, head of Shepherd’s commercial office in Lanarkshire, said: “The purchaser of this site was attracted by its prominent position within Stirling Industrial Estate, a small-to-medium-sized industrial estate with a number of larger industrial occupiers, and the access it gives to the Central Belt’s motorway network and beyond.”
Airdrie offers excellent communication links, given its proximity to the M8 and M73 Motorways, which form part of the main Central Scotland motorway network, and the A73 linking the M74 motorway at Abington to the A80 at Cumbernauld.
