AN Aberdeen reprographics firm has exceeded financial targets experiencing increases in both its turnover and staff.
North East Reprographics (NER) based at Marywell, on the outskirts of Aberdeen, announced earlier in the year they were on track for a 20 per cent increase in turnover and have since experienced a 30 per cent increase to over £7.5 million.
Launched in 1995, NER, which supplies Xerox machines and services including printers and copiers throughout the UK and Europe, caters for hundreds of local businesses and global organisations.
NER, which underwent a strategic merge earlier this year with Xeretec, an industry leader in digital print hardware, software, solutions and services, has seen improved demand for its range of office services and outsourced business processing.
The firm’s sister company, Solution X, located in Inverness has also experienced a successful rise in business, with a 25 per cent growth in turnover to £4 million.
Both firms, which are part of NER Group, has further strengthened the team with eight new members of staff taking the total number of employees to 63 across the whole group.
Continuing on from this success, NER Group has future plans to expand in to the Central Belt.
The group will be looking to recruit up to five new members of staff down south, with numbers expected to rise to ten within the year.
