HAVING undergone a £12 million refurbishment and redevelopment, the 80 bedroom Best Western Plus Coniston Hotel & Restaurant in Sittingbourne Kent, managed by one of the leading UK hotel management companies, Chardon Management, reopens its doors to guests today (Wednesday 10th October).
The extensive refurbishment has seen the Best Western Plus Coniston Hotel & Restaurant transformed into a stylish, modern hotel, with original features and quirky additions, all set to regain its prominent position in the heart of the local community.
Chardon Management managing director, Robert Crook, said: “Returning fresh-faced to Sittingbourne as a Best Western Plus, The Coniston Hotel & Restaurant now offers discerning guests a hotel with personality, plus extra service, style and comfort for a more memorable stay.
“Accommodating up to 250 guests, our freshly refurbished function room now offers an ideal setting for a dream wedding, as well as other social and business events, while our new Coniston Kitchen hotel restaurant introduces a Mediterranean flavour to Sittingbourne.”
Originally built as a private residence in 1880, the building was later extended before opening as a hotel in the 1940’s. Its latest incarnation is set to see it resume its rightful place in the heart of the community.
