IN an enterprising initiative sure to meet with parental approval, kids aged ten and under can now eat for free at weekends at The Italian Bistro in Glasgow’s West End.
The popular family restaurant has just launched a new children’s menu – and one of the most appealing items on it for parents is the fact that one child per adult choosing from the a la carte menu can dine for free – saving £5.95 for every children’s meal – when booking a table on Saturday from 12 noon till 5pm and all day Sunday.
The restaurant’s kids menu features starters of prawn cocktail, tomato soup and garlic bread and cheese. Main dishes are a 10” pizza of any combination, spaghetti bolognese and Napoli chicken goujons and chips.
And for desserts, on offer is a yummy selection of chocolate, strawberry or vanilla ice creams or chocolate fudge cake.
