BOUDOIR Wine Bar in Merchant Square, in the heart of Glasgow’s cultural, fashion and food quarter, has been ranked as one of the top ten wine bars in the UK.
And Boudoir is the only wine bar in Scotland to make the list, compiled by respected independent wine website eVines.
Proprietor, Darren Scott, said: “I’m delighted to receive this recognition from such a respected source in the wine trade, ranking us as the best wine bar in Scotland.
“But rather than bask in the glory of this acknowledgement, we remain committed fully to the continual review and remodelling of Boudoir’s offering to our customers.
“To that end we have now refreshed our wine samplers so that our customers can enjoy some of our beautiful new wines.
“Our white sampler now offers Cortese, Pinot Grigio and Vernaccia whilst our red offers Beaujolais, Sangiovese and Malbec for £9.25, or £12.95 with a small antipasti.”
In addition to its ranking in the top ten wine bars in the UK, Boudoir has been short listed in The Scottish Wine Award of the Year and The Best Independent Bar of the Year categories of the Scottish Licensed Trade Awards.
And fresh from extending its space to the rear and introducing live piano music on Thursday evenings, Boudoir has just undergone a facelift to ensure that its decadent interior remains as luxurious as the day it opened its doors less than two years ago.
