SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has set a closing date of Tuesday 24th July for offers to be submitted for the former Cairnfield Community Centre in Bridge of Don, three miles north of Aberdeen city centre.
Aberdeen City Council recently instructed Shepherd to sell the 1,200 sq ft building with offers in excess of £100,000 invited.
Situated within a predominantly residential area in close proximity to the recent Grandholm Village development as well as the commercial areas of Aberdeen Innovation Park Campus, the property is accessed via Balgownie Road and accordingly benefits from excellent access to the city centre and the city’s inner ring road.
James Morrison, surveyor at Shepherd’s Aberdeen office, said: “This single storey brick building, incorporating an activity room with kitchen area and storage space with male, female and disabled w.c. facilities, is suitable for a variety of uses.
“Due to the level of demand for this rare opportunity to purchase a unique property, we have now set a closing date.”
All offers must be submitted in a tender envelope which can be made available to parties noting an interest via their appointed solicitor by 4pm on Tuesday 24th July.
