LUXURY venue, the Roxburghe Hotel in Heiton, near Kelso, has created some celebratory offers in the month of the Royal Jubilee, honouring the Roxburghe Estate’s royal connections.
To mark the Queen’s Jubilee, new head chef, Neville Merrin will make a Jubilee celebration cake using a special recipe.
Non-residents can enjoy a slice of Neville’s cake and a glass of champagne as part of the hotel’s Jubilee Celebration Afternoon Tea which will also include other special treats.
The hotel is also releasing 60 June bed nights at the rate of only £99 bed and breakfast for two people sharing a room.
And for those looking for a longer stay, a special offer will be in place offering three nights for the price of two when reserving two nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis – rates are from £180 per room per night.

Guests during June can enjoy the afternoon tea on arrival and will also be treated to free entry to Floors Castle where they can visit the Gallery and Robe Room and learn more about the role successive Dukes of Roxburghe have taken in the coronation of our monarchs as well as view their coronation robes.
With views across the spreading lawns and a full refurbishment throughout the downstairs, the Roxburghe Hotel is the perfect place for some right royal treatment during the celebrations.

The Jubilee Celebration Afternoon Tea is available from Sunday 3 June to Saturday 9 June and costs £22.
