Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “We’ve a fun-packed series of free events for all the family at The Avenue as part of our Jubilee celebrations.
“The party gets started on Saturday 2nd June with a Waterstones street party with special guest ‘Badger the Mystical Mutt’, from the popular series of illustrated children’s stories for five to eight year olds addressing such issues as bullying, disability and prejudice.
“The following day is Funday Sunday with a ‘Royal’ caricaturist theme available for shoppers in the mall. Then, on Thursday 7th June, the ever-popular Primavera café bistro, which has just been transformed with a magnificent makeover, will host a special Royal Tea Dance from 7pm – 9pm.
