THE Bruichladdich sales team are cycling from Glasgow to Islay to attend the Feis Ile, Islay’s whisky and music festival.
The team intend to arrive in time for the Bruichladdich Day celebrations on Sunday 27th May, between noon and 18.00.
Douglas Taylor, Bruichladdich’s commercial director, leads the Bruichladdich sales team of cyclists on a route from the company’s Glasgow office to the distillery on the Isle of Islay.
Says a spokesperson: “The sales team recently secured a listing for the first time for Bruichladdich’s whiskies in World Duty Free.
“The two-day charity ride is in aid of their colleague, Craig Matthews, who died recently from kidney failure.”
