ABERDEEN-based independently-owned private nursing home, Hawkhill House Nursing Home, has announced that it achieved excellent grades during a recent Care Inspectorate audit.
Says a spokesperson: “Themes examined focused on the quality of care and support, the environment, staffing, and management and leadership and the facility recorded top grade six marks throughout.”
Hawkhill House Nursing Home at Milltimber has been privately-owned and managed by Rona Tayler since it opened in 1986.
Commenting on the achievement, Mrs Tayler, said: “This excellent achievement is testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone in the team at Hawkhill House, including our former matron/manager Kristin Jackson-Brown who recently left for a new life in Houston.
“We look forward to her successor Carol Mainland playing a key role in maintaining these high standards as we plan for the future of Hawkhill House.”
Inspector, Linda Murray, added: “The team has worked hard to provide excellent quality care and are continually striving for improvement. The service is aware of the hard work and dedication needed to attain this standard of care.”
