RENFREWSHIRE Chamber’s annual golf tournament this year takes place at Erskine Golf Club on the 8th June.
Chamber chief executive, Bob Davidson, a keen golfer himself, commented: “The 100-plus year-old course is regarded as one of the best in the West of Scotland and will be a great day out for all the teams taking part.
“Our 2011 event was a sell-out at Mar Hall with 18 fourballs taking part.
“The same number is expected for this year. In addition to the usual prizes – longest drive and nearest the pin, etc – there will be a raffle raising funds for the Chamber’s charity of the year – St Vincent’s Hospice.”
