LEADING law firm, Harper Macleod LLP, is offering an alternative for those property specialists not travelling to the MIPIM real estate event in Cannes.
For the second year running, the law firm which is legal adviser to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, is running its own version of the event – MIPIM (en Ecosse) on Thursday 8 March in 29 Private Members Club, Royal Exchange Square.
Delegates will hear from Glasgow 2014’s head of Legacy and Engagement, Paul Zealey, who will present on the plans and developments for the city in the run up to the Games and the legacy post-Games.
The event will be attended by leading property, construction and real estate professionals and will offer the perfect opportunity to discuss potential business opportunities arising from the Commonwealth Games.
Other topics that may be discussed at the event include the impact the independence referendum could have on the market and many other topical issues.
Harper Macleod’s Property & Construction Sector group head, John Meehan, commented: “MIPIM (en Ecosse) is an ideal forum for property industry professionals to network and find opportunity in the emerging real estate market. Last year’s event generated deals and initiatives – it was a great success and one we expect to be repeated this year.
“Numbers in attendance are already up 40 per cent on last year and we look forward to welcoming more people this year.”
Harper Macleod’s Property & Construction Group has acted on some of the biggest developments and transactions in the country, including AFIAA’s £23 million purchase of an office building in Edinburgh.
