1901 Bar & Grill, the leading quality gastro pub in Glasgow’s southside, has introduced a special Valentine’s Weekend Menu.
Available from 5pm till 9pm from Friday 10th February through till Tuesday 14th February, the menu features starters of: French Onion Soup; 1901 chicken liver pate; king prawn skewer and baked goats cheese crustini.
Main dishes include: supreme of chicken stuffed with cream cheese, smoked ham and chives glazed with a white wine and spring onion cream; chargrilled 8oz ribeye steak with a creamy pepper sauce; baked herb crusted salmon steak with a sundried tomato, black olive and coriander butter and roast Mediterranean vegetable and brie parcel served on crisp salad and pesto dressing.
The Valentine’s Menu sweet selection is: sticky toffee pudding with ice-cream and butterscotch sauce; chocolate marquise served with sauce anglaise and fresh strawberries and fresh fruit salad served with orange sorbet.
Including tea or coffee, 1901’s Valentine’s menu is available for £38 per couple and a glass of wine. 1901 Bar & Grill is located at 1534 Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow’s southside.
