JACKY Newcomb, the UK’s leading angel and afterlife experiences expert, known to her legion of fans as ‘The Angel Lady’, will walk up The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns on Saturday 11th February for an in-store book-signing session at Waterstones.
A multi-award winning best selling author, with over a half a million copies of her books sold in UK translation alone, Jacky appears regularly in national papers and on TV as a paranormal experiences expert.
At The Avenue she will be signing copies of three of her most recent books: ‘Call Me When You Get To Heaven’, ‘Healed by An Angel’ and ‘Angel Secrets’.
Andrew Matts, acting branch manager at Waterstones Newton Mearns, said: “We are delighted to have such a high profile author coming to our bookshop in the Avenue. Jacky writes about fascinating subjects and we’re sure our customers will enjoy meeting her.”
Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “Attracting such a popular author as Jacky Newcomb to The Avenue is a real coup and I know that many of her most avid fans are very excited about the prospect of meeting her in person.
“Judging by the buzz already surrounding the event, we’re sure that Jacky’s visit will be a great success and lead to many more book-signings at The Avenue in the coming months.”
Jacky will be giving a talk at a fundraising event on behalf of Giffnock Cats Protection at the Redhurst Hotel, Giffnock on Friday 10 February from 7.30pm-11pm.
She will then sign copies of her books at Waterstones at The Avenue at 3pm on Saturday 11 February.
Tickets for the Giffnock Cats Protection fundraising event are priced £10 (£12 on the night) and are available from Waterstones in The Avenue or by phoning Cats Protection on 0141 638 5110.
