RENOWNED Edinburgh restaurant, Amber, is offering an exclusive and special Valentine’s Day dining event.

‘Amber in the Attic’ is available on Tuesday 14 February only, giving couples the chance to dine in the glittering surroundings of the Castlehill Room followed by a private viewing of the world’s largest collection of Scotch whiskies, displayed in a stunning glass vault.

Award-winning Amber Restaurant is set within the five-star Scotch Whisky Experience, only a stone’s throw from Edinburgh Castle.

Known for its fine dining and superb selection of whiskies, the restaurant opens the doors to the private dining venue, the Castlehill Room, as a special treat for Valentine’s Day.

Couples will enjoy a glass of pink champagne on arrival within the atmospheric surroundings which include gorgeous Swarovski chandeliers, original wooden beams, stained glass windows and chic Scottish furnishings.

After dinner, guests will be given an exclusive private view of the superb whisky collection and the chance to enjoy a dram and coffee in the lovely McIntyre Bar with its views across the Edinburgh skyline.

Highlights of the menu include seared scallops and languoustines with Stornoway black pudding and wild herb pesto; beef with sticky carrots, homemade fat chips and béarnaise sauce; and cherry and chocolate gateau.

With a good range of vegetarian, fish and meat options, plus this one-off private view opportunity, this exclusive offer costs £38 per person.
