CUCKOO’S Bakery are famed for their innovative and imaginative cupcake flavours and designs, and their customers flock to this quirky little bakery on Dundas Street to order Cuckoo’s bespoke cupcakes for all manner of occasions.
The latest limited edition indulgence is a Whisky Custard cupcake and is a tribute to the great Scots poet and icon, Rabbie Burns.
A perfect accompaniment to your Burns supper, vanilla sponge filled with Whisky Custard and topped with Whisky buttercream icing.
Don’t feel too naughty though; imagine all the calories you will have burnt from the Ceilidh!
The cupcake features the quote, ‘O, my Love’s like a red, red rose’, inscribed on an edible scroll, along with a sugarcraft rose and a patriotic Scottish flag.
The cupcake is priced at £2.75 and will be available from Friday 20th January until 25th January.
