RS Occupational Health has signed a contract worth more than £1.5 million with Highland Council which will see the local authority outsource services for the first time.
The three-year contract was a key factor in RS Occupational Health’s recent move to new, larger premises at Lotland Street in Inverness, as well as the recruitment of additional staff to serve clients in the Highland capital and throughout the region.
RS Occupational Health is headquartered in Aberdeen and has offices in Inverness and Great Yarmouth.
In total, the company has recently appointed 14 new people across its three sites to cope with an upturn in demand.
Commenting on the contract with Highland Council, Fiona Sommerville, said: “The signing of this important and valuable contract with Highland Council will be instrumental in taking RS Occupational Health’s activities in that region to the next level.
“This is the first time Highland Council has outsourced any of its services and it is a great honour that they have chosen us to deliver these crucial services.”
Fiona added: “This contract has been a key factor in growing our Inverness team and our recent need to relocate within the city, and we look forward to working with the local authority during the next three years, as well as continuing to grow our client base in the region.”
