LEADING electrical control and automation specialists, HiTrack Ltd, are preparing to end the year on a high note after securing their latest project in west Africa, worth £250,000.
The news brings the total value of contracts won since the company’s September open day to £400,000.
Whilst the end of the year is traditionally a quieter time for the company, this year is bucking the trend and HiTrack is experiencing such a sharp upturn in business that it anticipates the need to recruit new staff early in 2012.
The company is headquartered at Dyce, Aberdeen and specialises in bespoke design, installation and maintenance of control systems and panels, ranging from small control cabinets to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) controlled automation systems for a range of industries including oil and gas, food, waste management and engineering.
Operating in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, the ten year-old company currently employs nine people.
Managing director, Willie Munro, said: “We are delighted to be so busy, particularly at this time of year and we are very pleased that a high percentage of this work is thanks to returning customers as well as a significant number of new clients.
“In order that we can continue to provide a high standard of service to them and honour our commitments to new customers, we hope to add to new faces to the team early in the new year so it looks set to be a flying start to 2012 as well.”
