NORTH-east architects and builders of the future have had their imaginations fuelled thanks to Deveron Homes.
Lynne Holburn of Huntly-based Deveron Homes visited pupils at Kemnay’s Alehousewells School to discuss housing and homes as part on an ongoing class project.
During Lynne’s visit , the pupils they had an opportunity to learn more about different types of houses, the people who work on building sites, and the materials needed to build a house.
The youngsters will also be able to put their skills into action thanks their being presented with a ‘Build-a-House’ construction kit which will enable them create miniature houses.
Lynne Holburn said: “Helping children to learn about homes and how they are made is always a fun and rewarding thing to do and it is something we try to do as frequently as possible to ensure that young people get involved in our construction projects as part of their education.”
