IF you’re on the hunt for festive treats, whether for Christmas dinner preparations or as stocking-fillers, then head to the Christmas Farmers’ Market at The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns this Sunday 11th December.
The first ever Christmas Farmers’ Market at The Avenue will feature a range of stallholders offering a variety of tempting fresh produce, including everything from jams and chutneys, meats, smoked and fresh fish, chocolate and cheeses, botanical soaps and local art – as well as handmade traditional Scottish confectionery from Threepwood Fayre.
Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “With the Christmas spirit now in full swing, our first Christmas Farmers’ Market is sure to add extra spice to our range of seasonal festivities this Sunday.
“And as well as Santa making a special guest appearance inside our glittering snow globe to make every kid’s wish come true, our famous mall mascots Newton and Fearn will be handing out free balloons to the kids.”
The Avenue’s first Christmas Farmers’ Market takes place in the car park at Marks & Spencer from 11am – 4pm this Sunday 11th December.
The Avenue Shopping Centre offers shoppers an alternative to sprawling trolley-dash shopping culture with a comprehensive range of outlets offering a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
