ONE of the North-east’s leading occupational health companies has secured deals worth £3.2 million since the beginning of this year.
Ongoing growth thanks to a busy year has led to a recruitment drive across the company’s three sites to add new medical, nursing and administrative staff.
In addition, there has been a recent move to new, larger premises in Lotland Street, Inverness to service an increasing client base in the Highlands and Islands.
RS Occupational Health was founded and is headquartered in Aberdeen and also has offices in Inverness and Great Yarmouth.
The growing company employs 50 people and is owned and run by occupational health specialists, Fiona Sommerville and Dr Andrew Goodge, who offer a combined experience of almost 50 years.
Whilst more than half of the Aberdeen branch’s business comes from the oil and gas industry, the company deals with a wide range of clients across many sectors including commercial, engineering, manufacturing and the public sector.
RS Occupational Health also holds the contract to administer the registration of doctors, worldwide, on behalf of Oil & Gas UK.
Commenting on the RS Occupational Health’s successful year to date, Fiona Sommerville said: “The company is built on quality of service, an ethos we have never wavered from and one which has stood us in good stead.”
Dr Andrew Goodge added: “RS Occupational Health is absolutely cross sector but all our clients have one thing in common, that they recognise and value good occupational health for their staff.”
