QUEL Vin, the independent wine merchant on Great Western Road in Glasgow’s West End, is inviting customers to pour their own wine with the availability of wine on tap.
The enterprising outlet now has two barrels on its shop floor, one filled with a red Australian Shiraz and the other with a South African Chenin Blanc, for customers to fill their own bottles at their leisure.
Quel Vin wine merchant, Phoebe Weller, said: “We have plenty empty bottles in store for customers to use, but they’re welcome to bring their own bottles too, if they prefer.
“And although we only introduced our pour your own offering last week, already it’s proving to be incredibly popular.”
A bottle of Quel Vin’s pour your own red or white wine costs £4.99 for a 750ml bottle whilst empty bottles can be purchased in-store for £1.00
Having opened earlier this year in the former Oddbins outlet, Quel Vin is already gaining an excellent reputation for customer service, carefully chosen wines and a friendly team that cares passionately about great flavours and interesting choices.
