RENFREWSHIRE Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce that the main sponsor for their annual business awards, ROCCO 2011, is Reid Kerr College
Audrey Cumberford, principal of Reid Kerr College, said: “We are delighted to be the main sponsor of this year’s ROCCO Awards.
“These awards highlight the success stories of local businesses and the commitment of Renfrewshire Chamber in recognising their achievements.
“The college works closely with businesses and organisations across Renfrewshire to ensure our training is tailored to support their ambitions.
“We would like to congratulate all the shortlisted companies and wish everyone the best of luck on the night.”
Held on the 11th November at the Normandy Hotel, the ROCCOs, which are the largest business event in Renfrewshire will see 11 awards being presented on the night.
Hosted by Fred MacAulay, with musical entertainment from the award-winning Loud n Proud, the night last year raised £15,000 for local Renfrewshire charities, good causes and community groups.
The main good causes this year are St Vincent’s Hospice and Street Stuff.
Chamber president, Tom Johnston, commented “Out of the 100 events we host in a year, the ROCCOs are by a long way, our main event.
“This year, we received our highest ever number of entries, making the judging panels selection process even harder than usual.
“I encourage businesses that are thinking of going, to book fast, as the event will sell out. From the 500 guests and VIPs that will attend – we hope to raise even more than last year.
“I would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck – to get to the finals is an achievement in itself.
