AUCHRANNIE House Hotel on the Isle of Arran was yesterday unveiled at the national winner of the ‘Laterooms.com Best Breakfast Award’ 2011.
The team at Auchrannie’s flagship restaurant, ‘Eighteen69’, beat off stiff competition from hotels all over the UK, from Cornwall in the south to the Scottish Highlands in the north.
Auchrannie was initially shortlisted after what the ‘laterooms.com’ judging panel described as “incredible feedback” from our guests.
‘Eighteen69’ is more usually known for its evening dinner service and is a holder of the prestigious ‘Eat Scotland Silver Award’.
Accepting the award on behalf of the ‘Eighteen69’ team, restaurants manager, Sheila Bannatyne, said: “This award is great recognition for the whole team who work tirelessly to ensure that the quality of food and level of service we deliver in ‘Eighteen69’ is second to none.”
Commenting further, Richard Small, general manager Auchrannie Resort, added: “This national award for our breakfast highlights Auchrannie’s continuing ability to provide a first class product to our guests.
