YOU are invited to the press launch of the first major Frank To exhibition since his sell-out ‘Plague Doctors’ exhibition earlier this year, when the artist will wear a ‘big bad wolf’ costume and carry a missing poster/placard asking members of the public if they have seen Little Red Riding Hood as part of a performance art show on the steps of the Royal Concert Hall, Buchanan Street, Glasgow at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday 15 September.
The new ‘Shadowlines’ exhibition from Frank To, the young Glasgow-based artist with a growing international reputation as a leading contemporary figurative painter, is inspired by fairytales and folklore, including an exploration of the significance of the wolf as a symbol for the darker side of the human psyche.
Frank To will be available for interview on the day.
