YOU are invited to the press launch of Design Collective Scotland featuring models showcasing its forthcoming Spring/Summer 2012 womenswear and accessories collections within Metropolitan Cocktail Bar and Restaurant at Candleriggs, Merchant Square, Merchant City, Glasgow at 3.30pm on Thursday 8th September for a photocall with interview opportunities and at 8pm for the launch party.
Comprising four of Scotland’s leading emerging contemporary designers, Design Collective Scotland has been conceived as a vehicle for the promotion of contemporary Scottish fashion design and a platform for nurturing fashion creatives in Scotland.
The four Design Collective Scotland designers, all of whom will showcase their Spring/Summer 2012 collections at London Fashion Week (16-20 September 2011), are Iona Crawford, Di Gilpin, Emily Lamb and Marc Ross.
As well as having the exclusive opportunity to preview Design Collective Scotland Spring/Summer 2012 womenswear collections and accessories salon style, guests attending the launch event will enjoy performances from up and coming Scottish band, Kitty The Lion, and a live DJ set from Ross McMillan, whilst sipping specially designed Collective Conjure Cognac cocktails and Laurent Perrier Champagne, complemented by exquisite canapés.
All four Design Collective Scotland designers will be available for interview during the afternoon of the Metropolitan event, and on the night itself.
