ABERDEEN-based Aiken Group has just completed a contract worth £4.6 million on a North Sea platform.
The deal with Wood Group PSN on Total’s Elgin PUQ platform involved accommodation upgrade work on four levels of the main accommodation block (PUQ) and hook-up work on four levels of the new modular constructed recreation block (ALQ).
The company is headquartered on Crombie Road in Aberdeen and plans are in the pipeline to set up premises in Dubai to service a growing client base in and around the Middle East.
The 24 year-old Aiken Group employs 50 staff at its Aberdeen headquarters, plus around 100 contractors worldwide.
Key areas of growth in UK and global markets include offshore accommodation upgrades, repeat business for new modular builds, upgrading of clients’ modular units, offshore door and window maintenance, plumbing, E&I, HVAC and refrigeration, integrity testing and facilities management business.
