BBC Scotland, Pacific Quay, Glasgow G51 1DA
ON the Saturday the 1st of October, the Chamber has arranged a member tour of the BBC Scotland building.
The event is for members only and will last around 90 minutes. There will also be a maximum of one person per company (total 25 people).
Pacific Quay is BBC Scotland’s headquarters on the banks of the River Clyde and is one of the most modern broadcast centres in the UK.
On this tour, you’ll learn about the architecture of the building, how programmes are made and see inside some studios (broadcast requirements permitting).
You’ll then get the chance to have a go at producing and starring in your own radio drama.
The tour lasts for approximately one-and-a-half hours and does involve a moderate amount of walking, so please wear comfortable shoes.
This event is free to Members only – you must register in advance via 0141 847 5465 / lconnor@renfrewshirechamber.com
