AN Aberdeen-based courier company has scooped a prestigious industry honour for the third year running.
Dyce headquartered Thistle Couriers, has been named Best Regional (Scotland) Depot 2010-2011 in the annual APC Overnight network awards scheme.
The company, which specialises in both national and international courier services and serves the North-east oil and gas community, received the accolade for the third year running at an award ceremony at the Chesford Grange Hotel, in Warwickshire, recently.
The award recognises ‘above and beyond’ service performance throughout the past year, with winners being voted for by other branches within the APC Overnight network, which has more than 120 depots across the UK, including 12 in Scotland.
Ewan Ferguson, Thistle Couriers managing director, was delighted to be able to collect the award in person.
He said: “To win such an important industry award is a fantastic achievement for our team in Aberdeen. Receiving this recognition from other professionals within the APC network makes the achievement an even better one for us and to claim the title three years in a row is all the more special.
