SCOTLAND’S largest communications consultancy, The BIG Partnership, has recruited a new account manager to further boost its digital division.
Social media and digital marketing specialist, Suzanne Fairbairn, joins BIG, the UK’s largest PR consultancy outside London*, from Guy Robertson Partnership where she worked on digital campaigns for Highland Spring, Fraser Hart and Commonwealth Games Committee Scotland.
Allan Barr, head of digital and social media at The BIG Partnership, said: “Suzanne joins us at a time of significant growth for BIG’s digital division.
“We’ve recently secured a number of new business wins within drinks, utilities and retail sectors.
“There is a real momentum within the agency, as more and more organisations begin to realise the advantages social media offers in engaging with their customers.
“Suzanne is a well-known figure within the social media scene in Scotland and brings with her fantastic skills and experience in delivering effective digital campaigns for a range of clients.”
Following her marketing degree at Strathclyde University Fairbairn set up TwentyOne Marketing, a social media consultancy.
Commenting on her appointment, Suzanne said: “Like most people within the industry in Scotland, I had been aware of BIG for a while.
“As an agency, they’ve shown themselves to be one of the early adopters of social media. From my discussions with Allan and the other directors, it was clear that they have ambitious plans for the division and I am very excited to be a part of it.”
