SLUMDOG Millionaire star, Anil Kapoor, dropped into La Cherie for some beauty tips at the weekend whilst shooting scenes for Tezz, his latest Bollywood movie, in Glasgow.
And Kapoor, who played the game show host, Prem Kumar, in Slumdog Millionaire, charmed staff and clients alike at the newly-opened hair and beauty salon in Cadogan Street in Glasgow city centre.
La Cherie manageress, Saadya Mohan, said: “I recognised Kapoor immediately, and although I was a little awe-struck when he asked for some beauty tips to prepare for the scene he was filming, he was the perfect gentleman.
“A crowd of us got autographs and, better still, he promised to return to treat his mother to a massage!”
