A LEADING North-east architecture and space planning firm has welcomed two new members of staff to the Inverurie-based team.
William Lippe Architects have appointed Stephen Martin to the role of senior architect and Tony Soares to the role of architectural technician.
Educated at Cults Academy and the former Robert Gordon’s Institute of Technology in Aberdeen, Stephen has previously been involved in a number of notable projects including work on Aberdeen’s Rox Hotel, the conversion of a ‘B’ Listed Aberdeen property and the creation of housing at a former Hydro Board site in Aberdeen’s Ferryhill district.
Tony Soares brings to the role two decades of knowledge gained in the Portuguese construction industry, as well as UK experience from jobs in Glasgow and the Highlands where, amongst other projects, he supported the design and construction of new sports facilities at Lochaber High School and was part of a team responsible for the conceptual design and feasibility for new nursery and primary school facilities in Fort William.
Commenting on the appointments, William Lippe said: “Stephen and Tony bring to the team considerable experience in both residential and commercial architecture and their knowledge is already proving to be very valuable within our company.”
Founded in 1985, the company employs 15 staff and provides top quality, professional architectural, space planning and associated services from inception to completion to residential and commercial clients throughout Scotland. In addition to a busy portfolio of residential work, the company works across many sectors including the food industry and is delighted to be a sponsor of this year’s Taste of Grampian Food festival at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie on Saturday, June 2nd.
