GOVAN is known the world over for its shipbuilding.
Now, a totally different kind of building is underway in the shape of Quarriers’ Scottish Epilepsy Centre.
This new centre of excellence is currently under construction a stone’s throw away from the national base of Epilepsy Scotland, also in Govan.
Quarriers and Epilepsy Scotland have a longstanding complementary expertise in assisting the 54,000 people living with epilepsy in Scotland.
Epilepsy Scotland welcomes Quarriers’s investment in this new development. Referrals between Quarriers and Epilepsy Scotland-run services will continue as a model of voluntary sector partnership.
Govan now has another reason to be world-famous.
