BARRHEAD Travel, the Scots independent travel group, scooped the title of Scotland’s best high street retailer for the 12th consecutive year at the Agent Achievement Awards in London last night.
The company also walked away with the UK Cruise Agent of the Year for the second time and claimed the award for best UK Online Agent.

Held at London’s Lancaster Hotel, the Agent Achievement Awards is considered the UK’s leading travel agent awards programme, now celebrating its 16th year, created to recognise and honour excellence and achievement in retail and online travel agents throughout the UK.
Other companies nominated at the event included Thomas Cook, Travel Republic, Flight Centre and The Co-operative Travel.
Barrhead Travel was honoured in the top three categories of the night following a vote by a panel of judges representing major travel suppliers from across the UK.
