BELL Ingram’s Oban office has been shortlisted for a prestigious award after a successful year within its lettings and sales departments.
Celebrity property expert, Phil Spencer, will take to the stage to present this year’s ESTAs which is the only awards programme specifically for estate agents and voted for by clients.
Steven Hornby, senior estate agent at the Oban Bell Ingram office, said: “To be nominated in these awards is an absolute merit to Bell Ingram as ultimately the judges are the clients and to be nominated can have a massive impact on the way potential clients will view us.
“At last year’s ESTAs our sales division received a bronze award which was a massive honour to everyone involved. It is too often the case within this industry that you only hear when there is a problem so to see us being rewarded for our hard work was a real boost for our staff morale.
“Reading positive messages and feedback from our clients is a really rewarding experience and shows our staff which areas we are performing best in.”
Entering the ESTAS and to be within the chance of being shortlisted involves writing to clients and requesting their participation in a detailed questionnaire of 11-15 questions which rates the agent on the level of customer service it is providing.
Steven adds: “Entering the awards is quite labour intensive which emphasises our dedication to providing a high standard of customer services as we want to be in a position to review which areas within our services excel and what we could improve on.
“We’ve had a fantastic start this year with us beating last year’s figures in our sales and lettings divisions. The number of questionnaires submitted is higher than last year which instantly demonstrates a strong relationship with our clients for them to willing to dedicate their time to fill it out.
“Ultimately, the judges are our customers and our success isn’t based on trying to impress a panel of industry experts, or how well we write a submission, or answer questions in a telephone interview, but rely on the things agents do every day for their clients and customers.
“Being shortlisted in the awards alone demonstrates credibility as they aren’t based on how well we impress a panel of industry experts or write a submission but about the things we do day-to-day for clients and customers.
“To be nominated in the ESTAs is a fantastic way to increase client loyalty, attract new clients, motivate staff and find out what clients think about our services and we hope our services excelled last years to win us a silver or gold award.”
The ninth annual ESTAS ceremony will take place on Friday 20th April at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane in London and will be presented by celebrity property expert, Phil Spencer.
