ONE of Scotland’s largest commercial property specialists has completed a hi-spec project with a Scottish-based international IT company.
Infographics, a privately-owned software development and Microsoft technology specialist, is a leading provider of Enterprise Resource, Business Process and Case Management Solutions.
The company enlisted the expertise of Space Solutions to help with an ambitious relocation project to prestigious new offices in Edinburgh.
Space Solutions assisted Infographics in a full refurbishment programme and move of their employees to their new headquarters building – Westcott House, located in the South Queensferry district.
Angela Bankier, senior designer at Space Solutions, said: “The recent project we undertook for Infographics was a great experience for the Space Solutions team. The senior management team was very hands on during the project, which was great.
“The work that we carried out for Infographics was slightly different to some of the other commercial projects we have worked on. This was due to the client’s specifications being tailored towards more of a hotel finish in certain areas, rather than a traditional office space.
“Many elements went into the design which helped make the office space feel less invasive and more relaxed. The space is open plan, giving it a spacious and unrestricted feeling, and in order to enhance this, the client chose an upgraded floor tiling throughout – helping create a more luxury feel.
“From the Italian light fixtures to the opulent wall paper selected, Infographics’ new headquarters is certainly a real step away from your typical office environment.”
Lorna Tilsley, marketing manager at Infographics, said: “We were delighted with the work that Space Solutions carried out on our new headquarters in Edinburgh. We were looking for something a bit different in our new premises, in that we wanted a functioning office but with a luxurious, modern feel.
