EDEN Scott, the ambitious Scotland-based recruitment firm, has already recruited its first nine graduates for the Swiss banking software solutions company, Avaloq’s new software development centre in Scotland.
The development centre – to be sited in Edinburgh city centre – is expected to employ 500 people in its first five years, including a significant number of new graduates from Scottish universities.
It is scheduled to open on 1 February 2012.
Niall Bree, Eden Scott’s dedicated manager for Avaloq, said: “We’ve been very impressed by the strong, immediate interest being shown locally in these exciting positions with Avaloq.
“The graduates recruited so far, mainly for software engineering and IT business analysis posts, all have very strong academic backgrounds, from high profile Scottish universities.
“In addition to graduate career opportunities, we will be looking at positions for more experienced candidates for Avaloq in due course.”
