THE website takethefamily.com has announced its Best Ever Ski Resort winners.
And guess what? The two winners, Flaine and Alpe d’Huez are both in France!
Takethefamily.com is a travel website which specialises in family holidays and that is why it asked ski experts to help parents to choose the perfect ski getaway.
Nick Dalton, in charge of the awards, created two categories: seven and under and over seven year-olds.
He has based them on numerous unbiased criteria, like ‘the number of beginners’ slopes’ or ‘how close the slopes are to accommodation’. He also asked the opinion of five ski specialists. He wanted to highlight the resorts where children can really get skiing.
The experts’ results say that: Alpe d’Huez is the best place for families with children of seven and under, while Flaine is the best for children over seven.
