MUSSELBURGH Roads Cycling Club, who are based in East Lothian, celebrate their 75 years in Scottish cycling.
Begins a spokesperson: “The club recently held their commemorative dinner at The Quay complex in Fisherow, Musselburgh, and would like to thank all club members, sponsors, invited guests and the staff at The Quay who contributed to an excellent event and made it a night to remember for years to come.
“A special thanks goes to our guest of honour, Mr Terry Dolan who is one of the biggest track bike/frame manufacturers in the UK and whose bikes are ridden by some of the worlds top riders.
“Terry had a choice to go to the European Track Championships in the Netherlands or come north to Musselburgh… thankfully, he chose our event.
“The proposed cycling event program for MRCC for next year promises to be the first step in an ambitious campaign to make cycling available as a healthy pursuit for all throughout East Lothian.”
