YOUNGSTERS from Inverness and nearby areas who have that extra special star quality are being encouraged to come along to Eden Court this weekend, and audition for the Christmas panto!
Producers of this year’s show, which is the magical tale of Cinderella, are searching high and low for youngsters to join the cast as panto babes.
Cinderella is an all time family favourite and the show’s producers from Imagine Theatre are eager to get some young, local talent involved with the show too.
Children between the ages of eight and 16 are being invited to tread the boards and show off their fancy footwork and audition at Eden Court on Sunday 28th August, at 9.45am for 10am start.
This year’s panto is already shaping up to be even bigger than last year’s performance of Beauty and the Beast, which received rave reviews.
Iain Lauchlan who directs of the show and also stars as an Ugly Sister, said: “Auditioning youngsters for the panto is always a lot of fun, but really tough too as we see so much talent!
“We are looking for kids that are great dancers, confident and also have that extra little bit of sparkle.
“The standard was very high last year so I can’t wait to see what the local youngsters have in store for us this year.”
Preparations for this year’s show are already in full swing, so make sure you book your tickets to avoid missing out on the best show in town come Christmas time!
