ABERDEEN-based Jasmine Holdings Ltd (Jasmine) has added local creative marketing and communications’ services agency, Covey McCormick, to its growing portfolio of companies.
Jasmine has acquired a majority share in the brand management, advertising and graphic design specialist for an undisclosed figure.
Following the deal, Covey McCormick – which was established in Aberdeen in 1987 – will continue to operate out of its offices in Bon Accord House, Riverside Drive, with all 12 current employees remaining with the company.
Jasmine Holdings Ltd managing director, Danny Cowie, said: “Although the businesses within the Jasmine group provide a very diverse range of products and services, there are similarities in the way that they have all built-up solid reputations throughout the North-east and beyond for consistently providing quality service and value to their clients.
“Covey McCormick is a well-established and respected player, both within its own sector and within the North-east business community.
“It is therefore an extremely good fit for Jasmine and our continued strategic growth plans and we look forward to working closely with the talented team there over the coming years.”
Kevin McCormick, Covey McCormick’s chair, added: “This is extremely exciting news for the company.
“We work with a diverse range of clients across many different market sectors and over the past 24 years have established a number of long-term customer relationships as a result of the high quality work we have produced.
“Now, with the added support and expertise of Jasmine Holdings behind us we are well-placed to build on this historical success and strengthen the business during the remainder of 2011 and beyond.”
Covey McCormick is one of Aberdeen’s longest established creative marketing and advertising agencies.
It has been planning and implementing effective brand communication strategies and advertising campaigns for clients for over 24 years.
In addition to Covey McCormick, Jasmine Holdings holds a substantial shareholding in James Aiken Engineering Solutions, Finesse Quality Coatings, Aiken Group, The Finesse Limo Company, Jasmine Property Investments, Printagraph and The Barber’s Pole chain of shops across the North-east.
