STUART Drysdale, associate within the Glasgow office, will now also be taking over Licensed Trade and Leisure instructions from the Edinburgh office and is dividing his time between the two cities.
Stuart has been involved in the development of the LT department since he joined the firm in 2003 and is looking forward to the challenge of increasing his national coverage.
Formerly concentrating on the central belt and west coast, as well as instructions nationwide and into North West England, Stuart’s role will now incorporate all of the Licensed Trade instructions originating from the Edinburgh office which will generally incorporate the Lothian, Fife and Borders areas.
Stuart aims to strengthen existing contacts in the aast and develop new relationships with professionals and clients in the Licensed Trade sector.
When discussing his added responsibilities, Stuart noted; “Although we find ourselves in difficult trading conditions, our expertise in this specialised department allows us to advise operators and lenders in all aspects of the licensed trade sector, to include valuation advice, rent reviews and agency cases.
“Being actively involved in the Edinburgh office will increase my own knowledge in respect of the licensed property trends across the Central Belt and beyond and will lead to an improved holistic view of the sector going forward.”
