A COMPANY which specialises in the manufacture of marine diesel engine coolant pumps has been shortlisted for a prestigious business award.
Aberdeenshire-based LFH Engineering has been shortlisted in the 2011 Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce (AGCC) Northern Star Business Awards, Overall Small Business category.
The company, which was established in April last year, has experienced a very promising opening twelve months in business, including increasing its workforce, exceeding sales targets and embarking on a demanding year two international customer and marketing plan.
Managing director, Les Hill, said the nomination was testament to the dedication of everyone at the company.

The annual Northern Star Business Awards honour business achievements by firms throughout the North-east and culminate in a ceremony and dinner at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre which will be held on Thursday, October 06, 2011.
LFH Engineering is based at Castlepark Industrial Estate, Ellon. Accredited as an approved member of the British Pump Manufacturing Association (BPMA) the company has an impressive client list including Rolls Royce, MAN Diesel and Caterpillar.
