ONLINE counselling experts, Borders Counselling, are now offering counsellors and psychotherapists the opportunity to expand their practice online with a listing on their well-established website onlinecounsellors.org
Clinical director, Linda Pollitt, explains: “Since our launch in 2010 we’ve been contacted by many therapists who are interested in working with us.
“They are keen to work with online clients but don’t necessarily have the time or expertise to market and manage these services on their own.
“As we’re also seeing a growing demand from clients, now seemed the ideal time to launch our new service.
“Therapists listed on our site are able to concentrate on their client work, while we take care of marketing and enquiries, as well as finding and booking clients.”
Listing on the new Borders site is free allowing therapists to try out the service at no risk.
There is a 20 per cent charge for each session booked through the site. Marketing manager, Sara, explains: “We only receive payment when our therapists receive bookings, so they can be sure that we’ll continue to work hard on their behalf!
“Therapists can set their own fee rates.”
Therapists can only list with Borders if they are members of a recognised professional body.
Linda explains: “That’s really important because it reassures clients; they can feel confident when booking with us that they are going to receive a very high standard, professional service.”
