BAUER Media has once more secured live broadcast rights for one of the UK’s must-see tours for a special Easter exclusive.
International chart topping band and winners of the Best Live Performance at the 2010 Meteor Awards, The Script are currently in the middle of a headline UK tour.
Bauer will now bring the band’s recent gig from the 21st March at the SECC in Glasgow, across a total 21 stations that reach 5.8m listeners on Easter Monday, 25th April.
The show will also include an exclusive ‘The Script In:Demand’ interview with the band and will feature post gig reactions from fans.
Listeners will also get the chance to win ten pairs of tickets, including travel and accommodation, to see the band perform live at their homecoming gig at Aviva Stadium in Dublin on 2nd July.
In:Demand’s Romeo will host the in-depth interview with the band across the stations in Scotland. Across all other stations the In:Demand exclusive will be presented by Alex and Lucy.
Bauer is continuing to build on its reputation for bringing the best live music and entertainment to listeners.
Key 103, Rock FM, Radio City, Radio Aire, Hallam FM, Viking FM, Metro Radio, TFM, CFM, Cool FM, Clyde 1, Forth One, Radio Borders, Westsound FM, West FM, Tay FM, Northsound 1, MFR and digital stations heat Radio, Q, and The Hits! will all participate in the broadcast.
In addition to the live gig recording and exclusive interview with the band, the stations will build up to the gig by creating a dedicated online splashpage for fans, ilovethescriptontheradio.com, launching online giveaways of signed copies of the band’s new album, Science and Faith on the lead up to the broadcast.
