LEADING Scottish PR company, CM Porter Novelli, has been appointed by VisitLanarkshire following a tender process.
The Edinburgh-based agency will handle media relations to increase the profile of Lanarkshire as a tourist destination and to increase visitors to the region’s many ‘undiscovered gems’.
CM Porter Novelli has a strong track record of work on high-profile tourism accounts.
The team already works for VisitScotland’s Business Tourism Unit (BTU) and has worked for National Museums Scotland, Our Dynamic Earth and a number of major visitor attraction relaunches and projects in recent years.
The company is currently employed by Edinburgh Zoo to handle media relations for the journey of two giant pandas being gifted by China and due to arrive in Scotland later this year.
