LEADING North-east law firm, Aberdein Considine & Company, has strengthened its legal team with a number of key promotions.
Ritchie Whyte has become a partner in the firm’s corporate and commercial department.
His role includes acquisitions and disposals of businesses on behalf of corporate and private clients, as well as all aspects of commercial property.
Court expert, Ryan McKay, has also been promoted to partner and will continue to specialise in commercial litigation. Working in the firm’s litigation department and part of a team of over 30 lawyers and paralegals, Ryan’s focus is upon insolvency and negligence work.
Laura Youngson and Sally-Anne Ogilvie have both been promoted to associates.
Laura, heads up Aberdein Considine’s Inverurie office. Her duties include buying and selling residential and commercial properties, as well as advising clients on wills and powers of attorneys.
Her appointment follows a significant upturn in new business at this office and the growth of the Garioch property market.
Sally-Anne is an employment law specialist mainly involved in providing support to business clients in what has become a highly-complex area of the law.
