LEADING technology integrator, SCC, has been named Lenovo Corporate Reseller of the Year at the manufacturer’s annual awards ceremony.
Emerging as winners ahead of a shortlist drawn from the entire EMEA region, SCC was awarded the prize in recognition of the company’s particularly strong performance in the UK market.
Collecting the honour at a prestigious ceremony in Amsterdam’s Hilton Hotel last week, the technology solutions provider was praised for an effective expansion strategy that has witnessed 197 per cent growth in the past year.
“In a nutshell, this ably demonstrates that the high volume desktop space sits at the heart of our core services and solutions strategy. The whole organisation has worked as a team on this strategy and we’re delighted to see all of that hard work and talent honoured in this manner,” said Andy Wright, director, Vendor Alliances at SCC.
Presented by a panel of Lenovo’s senior executives, the award recognised SCC’s efforts to drive growth in its client sales operation. Judges praised the company for general excellence and the ability to deliver results in challenging trading conditions.

They’ve taken an approach designed to deliver real growth over the last couple of years and, combined with a solid product set that fits well with customer requirements, that’s delivering real progress and a positive market response.”
