BEATTIE Communications, one of the UK’s largest independent PR and integrated marketing agencies, is to launch in Essex.
The new Essex marketing office will be spearheaded by Southend local, Louise Toms.
Based in Rochford, the new Essex PR office expands Beattie Communications’ network of eight offices which includes London, Leeds, Manchester, and Scotland.
Louise Toms said: ‘We anticipate a brisk demand from the many Essex-based businesses. With Beattie Communications on their doorstep, they will no longer have to go to London for PR and marketing services.
‘I’m looking forward to bringing my experience of working with global FMCG companies such as Specsavers, Cadbury’s and Reckitt Benckiser back to Essex.’
Louise will now launch a marketing campaign and outreach programme aimed at the top 300 businesses in Essex.
Beattie Communications already has a significant presence in Essex with 20 marketing specialists employed by its sister company, 11tenGroup – the global education marketing and student recruitment consultancy.
Peter Cunningham, director of 11tenGroup, said: ‘11ten has seen fantastic growth over the past 18 months. We are now driving student recruitment and education marketing campaigns on every continent. Expanding our offering in the Essex office to include PR is a natural progression.’
Louise added: “I was born and bred in Southend and went to Essex University. I have worked in London for over five years so it will be great to bring PR back to my home county.”
